I don't love this place like most people I know do. In fact, I don't think it's that good. The main reason I go there is because my girlfriend loves it. I have never eaten anything here that I thought was really good, I find the food to be bland and boring. I've tried different things and I think the best thing is the Japanese pan noodles. I think my biggest problem with N&C is that it's so overpriced. A bowl of Japanese pan noodles with steak is over $8, I can go to Little World and get the Singapore rice noodles for less and they're way better.

Enjoyed this one for it's uniqueness and quality of food they serve. Tried the thai curry soup and the mac n cheese, pad thai, 'twas ok. I would come back to this place (there's a branch around Oceanside, Ca, isn't it?) and try the other offerings on the menu and maybe add a star on the current rating. This Salt Lake branch was very clean, relatively new some 2 years ago(?) Service was ok. :)--- unique concept, clean and bright ambiance :(--- short menu

I love the Japanese pan noodles! I stop in every few months and am always happy with the value..dinner for less than $5 is great!

This is the best restaurant in the whole world. Not just this one, but all of them. Never been to a bad Noodles. When we moved to Arizona for awhile I went through Noodles withdrawals. The Pesto Cavatappi is so amazing, I can hardly bring myself to order anything else ever. But the Pasta Fresca and Penne Rosa are also delicious. This place is vegetarian heaven for me. And the ciabatta roll is so incredible. Unfortunately they have reduced the size of the roll but it's still cheap. I wish I could go to Noodles all the time, but I may get fat so I'll just indulge periodically and gush about how awesome it is for days after.

So this place isn't fancy, in fact - it's quite the opposite. But it's like Chipotle, it's fast food that doesn't taste like fast food that is quality and reliable. Also, it's great to know that they have gluten free options as well! My favorite is the pad thai with shrimp. Great place, can get busy on the weekend and weeknights during dinner time. Not always the cleanest place when it's busy, but always good stuff.

I've eaten at these places for a few years now and I'm definitely a fan. If you're in the mood for a nice pasta dish - give it a try. I've had the pesto dish, the thai curry, the mac and cheese, and the beef stroganoff. All were good, although the mac and cheese gets a little bland after a couple bites. Adding grilled chicken is a yummy option too.

Great bargain for a carb fest. Ate family style and had the Pad Thai, Marinara, and Japanese noodles. Would have given a higher rating but the Japanese noodles were roasted too much - almost to the point of burnt. Loved the Tomato Bisque. Great for vegetarians.

I used to really like Noodles and it's close to my house, but lately every single time I eat there I get stomach problems later. I don't know if it's me or them so I avoid now. My favorite dish there is just plain ole butter noodles with parmesan chicken added. Simple and yummy. And so much pain in the belly :)

I used to like this place and enjoy to eat there. However, my last two experience were not good. I love their Indonesian peanut saute which has good peanut flavor with a little bit of spicy. That is my only choice all the time. From my past two visit, I order the same noodles again. The noodles was too dry and they all stick together. It definitely overcooked and it must stay on the counter for a while before serving because it was just warm and the noodles was mushy. It definitely is not a dish that should present to customers, especially they are kinda fast food restaurant which is specialized in noodles. It used to have better qualities.

The only thing I really love about this place is the Japanese pan noodles. But, I love them about as much as I've ever loved anything. I've tried pretty much everything on the menu, and I haven't hated anything, but I can't enough of the pan noodles. My son loves the macaroni and cheese. I appreciate that the place can easily accommodate a group containing vegetarians and meat eaters. The service is always very friendly, but tends to be a bit slow during peak times. The restaurant is always clean enough. The prices are a little steep for fast food, but the portions are large.

I've had a Noodles & Company gift card in my wallet for over a year because this chain--like most of its ilk--has never been the answer to, "Where do I want to eat?" Today it was the answer to, "How can I make my wallet less bulky?" It was also the answer to, "What crappy, barely edible industrial product will make me the angriest?" Goddamnit. Just stop eating at these places and maybe they'll dry up and go away. Japanese pan noodles, Thai peanut noodles, soylent green noodles, burnt grease and solvent-flavored noodles: It is all bullshit without any of the positive aspects of actual bullshit. The noodle is one of humanity's greatest inventions. Noodles & Company is one of its worst perversions.

Noodles and Company used to be a place that you could get a predictable, yet satisfying meal. I wouldn't categorize it that way any longer, folks. It's been awhile since I've visited a Noodles and Company, and it will be awhile before I visit one again. They've changed up their menu a bit recently and not for the better. I'm not one to complain about restaurants refraining from super sizing their meals, but the small to go pasta was laughable at best. I wish I had taken a photo because it was so ridiculous. You could see the bottom of the container when it was "full." I ordered the Veggie Med sandwich. First of all, it was advertised with the mediterranean salad on the side, but you can't actually choose that as an option. It's not the biggest deal, but when I asked the guy about it, he said they do it that way because they "go together:" Seems kind of shady to advertise it that way and for that reason, if you're not going to let someone order that way. Second, I cannot imagine ordering the regular sandwich that comes with chicken! The pita that my sandwich came in was so narrow, none of the filling fit inside. I ended up eating it more like a salad, because it was impossible to keep anything inside if you picked it up. The food tastes fine which is why I won't give them only 1 star, but overall, you'll need to order extra sides if you want to fill up here. (I am not someone that needs a lot of food by the way!)

Really can be skipped. It's a mish mash of everything- Thai, Chinese, Mediterranean (?!!) and also has random garlic bread like Olive Garden. I ordered the Bangkok noodles that had a ton of pepper for some reason. However the chicken grilled was excellent! Could've eaten than plain- without the noodles. May not come back...

FOOD: 4 stars Med salad with chicken (no noodles) -- too much cheese in my opinion, but the salad was light and fresh, dressing on the side Pad thai with tofu -- the best of the 3 dishes in my opinion. Great flavor in the tofu. Pesto pasta w/ chicken - good; not too saucy! Chicken was a bit dry. SERVICE: 5 stars for sure!!! They accommodated my mom altering her order. They forgot the chicken on the salad but brought it out a few moments later. AMBIANCE/SEATING: Plenty of indoor/outdoor seating Trendy decor and comfy chairs, very clean inside and out Cool soda/water dispensers! Very futuristic and modern! While it's not the most impressive food, the portions are just right and the service was the best I've experienced in Utah so far in my stay here!

Somehow I hadn't ever had Noodles & Company. It's been there since I've lived in Salt Lake, but for what ever reason I hadn't ate there until a couple days ago. After a crazy bout with food poisoning that I'm pretty sure came from a Little Ceaser's pizza, I was STARVING. The only thing that sounded good was Noodles & Company. I have no idea why that was as I had never eaten there before, but I really, really needed my Noodles & Company. My girlfriend went out and picked me up a chicken noodle soup and a buffalo chicken pasta bowl. It came with some flatbread as well. The soup was just what I needed! The chicken pieces in it were good sized and even better tasting. The flatbread was nice, soft and buttery and just what I needed. The pasta was fantastic. The macaroni and buffalo sauce were great. I ate about half of it, slept a bit, and then reheated the rest and ate it. It reheated perfect and tasted even better the second time! Ever since Santa Pasta closed down I've been crazing some good, fast pasta, and Noodles & Company delivered just what I needed. I was able to keep it down, and plan on going back again soon!

The location is great, really close to campus. I love getting the Pesto Cavatappi. Unfortunately what I got today was quite dry and really lacking in the tomatoes and mushrooms. I asked if I could get extra veggie and they told me it would cost $1.00 extra for each veggie type. What the heck? So I would have to pay an additional $2.00 just to add more mushroom and tomatoes. I really hate how skimpy they can get and that you have to pay to even get a decent balance in the dish. The girl who helped me at the register was awesome though. She was very positive and accurate with my order. The order came relatively quickly for a busy lunch time.

I like Panda Express better than this place. My husband got the Japanese udon, smelled too smokey, we both didn't like it at all. Prices are good, just remember it's just a fast food place so don't ask to much for the quality of the food

You get what you expect from a noodle chain. I like the options and everything I've tried is delicious. I think the meat add-ons are a little pricey, and it would be nice to have more whole grain pasta options. (They only have whole grain linguine which you can substitute in any dish...) Honestly, my favorite part of eating here is the convenience, the speed, and the drink fountain. Everyone is nice but the tables aren't cleared off/ cleaned regularly and the bathrooms aren't great.

Friendly and attentive staff. Went as a family and was uniformly disappointed with each dish however. The mac and cheese was more oily than cheesy. The chicken noodle soup lacked salt. The Thai hot pot with fatty pork and there was minimal discernible curry flavor. I could go on, but the bottom line is that the food just wasn't worth any price. Will not re-visit.

For a really long time I had tried to avoid Noodles & Co, no, not because its a chain, and not for its slightly inconvenient location, but because I dislike their ordering system. Its probably just a personal preference thing, but I strongly dislike the concept of having a base price and then adding on "extras" for an additional cost. I know it sounds stupid, but I have the same problem with Cafe Rio and getting your burrito enchilada style. I just feel like I'm being nickle and dime'd, even though really I'm getting more options, but still. Note: decent option for vegetarians! Anyways, after finally getting over my strange aversion to the ordering system, I've found a few favorites and no so favorites. - Penne Rosa with Parmesan Chicken: yum, tangy, with a kick of spice - Mac & Cheese: this doesn't come from your average blue box. - Mushroom Stroganoff with Braised Beef: one of their weaker dishes, doesn't come with enough sauce, and the flavor just isn't there. Also. I really like soda machines that come with the touch screens.

I didn't dig this place. The service was nice and the idea seemed good but the food didn't 'deliver' for me. I had Thai soup, which was ok and I also had the Japanese noodles. It was just.....ok. I've only been here once because I happened to be in town, but I'm in no hurry to go back the next time I'm in SLC.

Went for the first time yesterday! Food was pretty darn good, and it came quickly! Place is clean and easy! Interesting beverage dispenser! I thought the prices were pretty reasonable.

Beef stroganoff - yum. Could have used a bit more sauce. Definitely a good place for a quick take out dinner.

I'm not a big chain restaurant fan, but this one is one of my favorites. I always get mushroom stroganoff with braised beef and I've never been unhappy about it. I love that they use real plates, glassware, and flatware and that you can customize your meal with any meat or veggie that you'd like. It's like homey-food but in a restaurant. However, it's still a restaurant and it's actually not that cheap at all. In the end, though, I do like the place- it's perfect for a weeknight dinner when you just don't have time to cook but you don't want a "restaurant" meal. I can imagine that it's great for kids as well.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
